FCC port-out kit

A pre-filled Letter of Authorization, account number, and security PIN. Everything your carrier needs to claim the number.

Works on any carrier

Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Mint, Visible, Google Voice, and any future US wireless or VoIP carrier you switch to.

Zero downtime

Your existing line stays active until the moment your new number activates. Keep both lines if you want to.

Owned, not leased

Apps and carriers only lease you a number. They can reclaim it the day you stop paying. This one is registered to your name and owned outright: no monthly fee, no renewal, no one who can take it back.

FCC §52 protected

Federal regulation 47 CFR §52 requires carriers to accept a valid wireless number port. Submitted correctly, it can’t be turned down. The rare bounce is a typo we fix free.

Sell, gift, transfer

Pass it to a family member, sell it later, or move it to your business. It’s yours to do as you wish.

From checkout to ringing

How it works, in 5 simple steps

You give the kit to your carrier; your carrier ports the number, typically in 24-48 hours.

  1. 1

    Checkout

Pay once with Apple Pay, Shop Pay, or card. The moment payment clears, the number is locked to you and comes off the site.

    Instant
  2. 2

    Receive transfer kit

Within 1-3 business days we email your transfer kit. A pre-filled FCC Letter of Authorization, account number, PIN, and step-by-step carrier instructions.

    1-3 business days
  3. 3

    You submit to your carrier

Forward the kit to any US carrier or US VoIP provider (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, anyone). Online or in-store. We prepare everything they need; your carrier performs the port.

    ~5 minutes
  4. 4

    Your carrier completes the port

Your carrier handles the actual port-in. Most major US carriers complete in 24-48 hours; exact timing is up to them. Your old line stays active until the new number activates. If your carrier ever rejects the kit — almost always a typo — we send a corrected kit free, as many times as it takes.

    Your new number starts ringing

Calls and texts (SMS) arrive on the phone you already have. Keep your current plan — there is nothing to download or set up. It works like any other number, and it’s registered to your account, so it follows you to any carrier from here on.

Quick answers

Anything you'd ask before buying.

Keep your old number?Yes
Any major US carrier?Yes. Prepaid, postpaid (monthly) or VoIP
Monthly fees?None to us. Just your phone plan.
Live on your phone in…24–48h after you submit the kit to your carrier
Can a carrier refuse it?No. FCC §52
Sell or gift it later?Yes. It’s yours forever
Is this legitimate? How do I know it isn't a scam?
A fair question for any purchase this size. Every number we sell is a real, registered US telephone number, transferred through the official FCC carrier-porting process. The exact same system your carrier uses every time someone switches providers. Once the port completes, the number lives in your carrier account like any other line. It doesn't depend on us in any way. We don't leave you to figure it out alone, either: if a port is ever rejected on a technicality, we re-issue corrected credentials free, as many times as it takes, until your number rings.
Can't I just get a free number from my carrier?
You can. A random one. Carriers assign whatever's next in the pool, and you don't get to choose. What you're buying here is the right to a specific number: a pattern people remember, that nobody else can ever have. The free number is a serial number. This one is an asset.
Do I need a new phone or plan?
No. The number becomes a line on your existing carrier account. Keep your phone, keep your plan. Add it as a second line, or replace your current number with it. Your carrier handles it like any normal port.
Do I pay a carrier to keep the number?
Yes, but not to us. The number has to sit on an active line with a carrier to make and receive calls and texts (SMS), and they bill you for that at whatever your plan costs — the same arrangement as the number you use today. If it replaces your current number, there is usually no change to your bill. If you keep both numbers, most carriers charge $5–10 a month for the extra line. Nothing is ever paid to us — the number is a one-time purchase you own outright, with no monthly fees, no annual fees and no renewals.
Can I buy if I live outside the US?
Only if you can get a US line. The number has to sit on an active line with a US carrier or hosting provider before it will work — and the major carriers do not sell consumer plans outside the US. Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile generally require a US address and a US payment method to open an account, and that applies in Canada too. Some VoIP and number-hosting providers accept ports from customers abroad, but arranging that line is your responsibility, not something we can set up for you.
Without a US line, your number cannot be activated. It will sit unused, and it cannot be refunded — every number is one of one and all sales are final. If you cannot confirm a line that will accept the number, please do not buy.
Does this work on a prepaid plan?
Yes. Prepaid or postpaid (monthly), with any US carrier or US VoIP provider. One tip that makes it go smoothly: when you set the line up, tell the carrier you are porting a number in rather than taking a new one. Some prepaid carriers prefer to handle the port as part of activating the line, so starting that way saves you a second trip.
Can I keep my old number too?
Yes. The new number ports as a separate line and your existing line is unaffected. If you choose to keep both numbers active, your carrier, not us, may charge for the extra line (typically $5–10/mo). There’s never a recurring fee from us.
What does "one-time purchase" actually mean?
You pay once at checkout. The number is registered to your name and ported to your carrier. You'll never receive another bill from us.
Can my carrier refuse the port?
Not when it’s submitted correctly. Federal regulation 47 CFR §52 requires every US carrier to accept a valid number port. The rare rejection is almost always a typo in the details. We re-issue a corrected kit free and it goes through.
What if something goes wrong on my carrier's side?
If a port is rejected (rare. Usually a typo on the kit), send us the rejection notice and we'll issue a corrected transfer kit at zero cost so you can re-submit it to your carrier. The carrier handles the actual port; we just make sure the kit is right. There is no time limit, and no cap on how many times we will do it.
How fast does the number transfer?
Once you submit the kit to your carrier, wireless ports typically complete in 24–48 hours.
What if I change my mind? Why are sales final?
Fair to ask before a purchase like this. Here’s what we guarantee: if a port is ever rejected on a technicality, we re-issue corrected credentials free, as many times as it takes, until your number ports. And if we ever can’t supply the number you bought, you get a 100% refund. What we don’t do is change-of-mind refunds: every number is a one-of-one asset, so the moment you buy it the listing is permanently retired and your credentials are prepared for release. All sales are final.
What if the number isn’t available after I order?
It’s rare. If your number is unavailable after purchase, or we cannot supply or deliver it, you’re refunded in full, automatically. You don’t need to contact us, submit a claim, or wait to see whether a kit arrives. Nothing happens to your existing number or phone line either, since the transfer only begins once you submit the kit to your carrier.
What if I want to sell the number later?
The number lives at the carrier level, not the device. You can sell, gift, or transfer ownership at any time.
Will this number go on sale if I wait?
No. One-of-one inventory doesn’t do discounts. There’s exactly one of this number, and the price is the price until someone owns it. Waiting only risks someone else claiming it first.
Will the number show up as "Spam Likely" or get junk calls?
A "Spam Likely" label follows a number's calling behavior, not the number itself. It appears when a line is used for mass outbound spam. Used normally, your number builds its own clean reputation. And if a label ever shows up in error, it's correctable: the major carriers' analytics partners run a free caller registry where you register your name and clear mislabels. If anything is wrong with the number at delivery, our delivery guarantee applies.

The Forever-Yours Guarantee.

Your number is registered to you and yours for life. If a port is ever rejected on a technicality, send us the notice and we re-issue corrected credentials free. As many times as it takes, until your number rings. No subscriptions, no expiry, and we don’t walk away until it’s working.

If we ever can’t supply the number you bought, you get a 100% refund. Beyond that, all sales are final. The moment you buy, we retire the listing forever, so no one else can ever own your number.
